Q. Once I pay for my hosting space, how long does it take for Account to be up and running?
A. Once you submit all the appropriate information to us, such as username, password, domain ,etc. Your account will be actived instantly. It will take 24-72 hours for your domain name to resolves to our domain name servers. View here for this explaination.

Q. Are there any additional fees for creating or transferring domains?
A. No, these package are all inclusive :o) You will not incur any additional fees other than the price you paid us. But if you use beyond your allocated resources you will have to pay for the extra resources.

Q. What is the "catch"? Are their any setup fees or "hidden costs" associated with your service?
A. No "catch", no setup fees, hidden costs or "sudden" change of prices. All prices are clearly spelled out in the price comparison sheet depending if you are looking at Unix or Windows packages.

Q:  Is Domain Name registration included with your hosting package?
A:  No. Domain Name registration is not included with our Hosting Package. AwesomeDomains4Less offers exceptional domain name registration services for only $8.10 per year. AwesomeDomains4Less is wholly owned by Lionzhead.com and offers you the same great service and support that we do. Currently we are integrating AwesomeDomains4Less into Lionzhead.com so you can have 1 account for your web hosting needs. However that process may take some time so please visit AwesomeDomains4Less directly to purchase a domain name.

Q:  Do you have in-depth control panel documentation?
A:  YES! Go here for flash help and documentation.

Q:  How long does it take to transfer Domain Name Servers to your domain name servers?
A:  This process will usually take between 24-72 hours. Please allow up to 72 hours for your domain name (or customer's domain names) to fully propagate to our servers. You do not transfer your domain name to us, you simply update your Domain Name Servers to reflect ours. Our DNS is NS1.Lionzhead.com and NS2.lionzhead.com

Q:  How many domain's can I host?
A: You can host up to 25 domains per package. You do not need 1 package for each domain.

Q:  How much extra is a gig of bandwidth?
A:  It depends on the plan but usually about 1-3 dollars per gig/month. Your account will not be shut down if you go over your allotted monthly bandwidth, we'll send you an email letting you how much you're over the limit with further instructions.

Q:  Is Webmail available?
A:  Yes Webmail is available on your account and available on any domain name account you activate through your H-Sphere Reseller Control Panel. You can always access your Webmail at http://mail.lionzhead.com or eventually http://mail.yourdomain.com

Q:  Are Web Stats available?
A:  WebAlizer Stats are available to your account for Windows 2000 and WebAlizer/Modlogon are available for Unix, and each account you setup.

Q:  Are BackUp/Restore and Anonymous FTP available?
A:  We backup DAILY for our own use just in case of hardware fails . We strongly suggest you to backup your data on your own.

Q:  Do I (or my customers) receive a our very own static ip addresses?
A: All accounts have a shared ip address, accounts are setup as domain name based accounts.

Q:  Can I host any top level domain (tld), even foreign ones?
A:  Yes all types of domains foreign and domestic can be hosted providing YOUR registrar can host the domain name.

Q:  Will I have 24 hour access to my web site?
A:  Yes, FTP will provide you with access anytime.

Q:  Is spam mailing (bulk mailing) allowed?
A:  No. Absolutely not. We will see it, you will be removed, read the End User Lisence Agreement.

Q:  Do you provide a CGI-BIN personal directory?
A:  Yes, you & your clients get your own personal CGI-BIN.

Q:  Do you provide CGI Scripts?
A:  We do not make CGI scripts for you however you can download as-is (no warranty or tech support) CGI scripts at http://cgi.lionzhead.com

Q:  What version of Perl is installed on the server?
A:  View our PhpInfo for the latest server configuration

Q:  What is the path to Perl?
A:  usr/bin/perl

Q:  What is the path to sendmail?
A:  usr/sbin/sendmail

Q:  Do you offer SSI?
A:  Yes, just make sure that you call them with the .shtml extension.

Q:  Do you offer MySQL
A. Yes we offer MySQL databases to you and your customers.

Q:  What type of secure socket layer do you use & how do I set it up?
A:  We run Apache SSL. Our servers support SSL but you will need to acquire your own third party SSL certificate through www.thwate.com or www.verisign.com to take advantage of SSL services. You will also need to get a dedicated IP address to support SSL services on your domain name account.

Q:  Do you provide password protection to folders?
A:  Yes. This is easily set up through your Site Admin Control Panel.

Q:  What should the main page of my web site be named?
A:  It should be named "index.html", "index.shtml" or "index.php"

Q:  Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?
A:  Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name.

Q:  What programs can be used to access e-mail?
A:  Any POP email client can be used: pine, elm, Netscape mail, Outlook, etc. But you cannot use IMAP programs.

Q:  How can I manage my e-mail accounts?
A:  Use the simple to use user/mail manager feature in your Site Admin Control Panel.

Q:  Do you have FTP and FTP Anonymous access?
A:  You receive FTP access, Anonymous FTP with all packages.

Q:  Are your servers monitored?
A:  Yes, we monitor them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they also have a full electrical backup and generator. They are currently located with EV1 Servers.
